MyAnna Buring – My Life On Film

_ The 28-year-old Swedish actress had a baptism of fire with her first film role straight out of drama school – crawling around caves being chased by blind carnivores in Neil Marshall’s genuinely creepy thriller The Descent. After that there was a bit of “paying your dues” with roles in Doomsday and Lesbian Vampire Killers before landing a plum part in Ben Wheatley’s shocking Kill List in 2011. And the run of quality projects continued this year with three award friendly TV dramas – White Heat, The Poison Tree and Ripper Street – before she finishes 2012 in fine style by joining the cast of Sunday night behemoth Downton Abbey.
