Classic movies and posters re-imagined. Why? Just because it made us laugh
What if Die Hard starred Leonard Nimoy as the vest wearing John McClane? Or Groundhog Day was a Sixties farce starring Peter Sellers and Mary Tyler Moore? How about The Hangover as a Blake Edwards’ screwball comedy with Dean Martin, Jack Lemmon and Jerry Lewis? Well New York illustrator/designer Peter Stults has created a series of posters that transports us into just such a world. “What if movies we were all familiar with were made in a different slice of time? Who would be in it? Who would direct it?” says Stults. “I loved that concept.”
It’s surely not just INDUSTRIA who thinks Avatar starring a port bellied William Shatner would have been a much better movie…now we just need to get it made. Jim are you listening?
